Ketamine Nasal Spray

Indications: To treat anxiety, depression, for pain management, PTSD, OCD, work stress, performance anxiety, insomnia, addiction, suicidality.

Compounded Ingredients: 1 gram Ketamine (50/50 R&S), 15 ml sterile water, sodium chloride (preservative and stabiliser)

Dosage: A single spray delivers between 8 – 12 mg of Ketamine intra nasally. 2 shots deliver 15 – 25 mg ketamine (light dose). 4 shots deliver 30 – 50 mg (medium).

Be mindful that about 35% of Ketamine is absorbed in the nasal cavities, and spray devices produce a range of doses depending on many factors, such as how hard the plunger is depressed, how clear the nozzle is, and so on.

Note: The bottle is 30 ml and appears to be half empty. This is due to a dearth of 15 ml bottles. If you desire a lighter ketamine dose and you have an accurate way to measure liquid volume you can dilute the solution with sterile water. Doubling the liquid will half its effectiveness. So each shot will be more in the range of 4 – 8 mg per spray but you will also double the number of sprays.

Usage: For best results apply the applicator to your nostril, pull the plunger smartly as you inhale. It’s similar to using any nasal decongestant product. After use, clean the applicator with an alcohol wipe and replace the plastic cap. Store in a dark cool place when not in use.

Intranasal spray is a superior method to insufflate Ketamine. It’s easy to carry and dose with a higher safety profile than ketamine crystal. The mist has a slightly higher absorption rate than insufflating Ketamine alone.

1 – 2 shots per nostril provides a light ketamine experience. Wait several minutes before redosing. The Ketamine solution may drip down the back of the throat which many people find unpleasant. Going low and slow is the way to use this product. Onset is usually within 5 minutes.

Ketamine can recrystallize in solution, particularly if refrigerated or frozen. Ketamine crystals can clog the spray mechanism especially when it gets dried out between uses. If the plunger gets clogged, remove it from the bottle and pump warm water through it until the spray runs freely 1 again and reattach the spray mechanism to the bottle. If you see crystals in the solution, gently warm the bottle and shake vigorously.
